Have the navigation module, but find it clumsy to go from nav to a list of radio stations, so I can choose a new station (i.e. push a virtual button). Surely there is a way to do this without going thru the whole menuing system.

If the stations have been pre-set you can toggle from the buttons on the steering wheel... Have I misunderstood the question?

Maybe I was not clear. Let's say I have the navigation screen in view, but want to pull up the virtual "radio buttons" on the screen. How do I do this most directly? Yes I can toggle channel by channel on the steering wheel control. But if I want to go from channel one to six it might be easier to do on the screen.

Voice recognition would be the fastest... Just hit the voice command button on the steering wheel (twice if you want to bypass the instruction prompt - you can also disable the instruction permanently in settings) and say "audio menu" or "radio" or "FM2" or "CD3", etc. You can also say "switch the channel to XM channel 204" or whatever you actually want to do. The voice command system has natural speech recognition.
