Our roads
I was wondering if anyone knows what is going on with the construction on Kapiolani blvd? Its crazy driving there not a place for low-profile tires to drive through.
Its like if i wanted to go Off-roading, forget the West side, Kapiolani got loads of huge mounds, dips and metal plates to try out.
Sorry just my rant, Its like almost everywhere is bad. Well except on some parts on Ala moana Blvd and i do mean some parts.

I live on Kapiolani and I've been dealing with the construction for almost a year already....dunno when its going to end either. I just totally avoid Kap and go on Beretania/King or Ala Moana. Not worth the crappy condition and avoiding sudden merges from crazy peeps.

I just want to know who the genius is that OK'd the number of times that Kapiolani has been ripped open/repaved/rinse/repeat.
You'd think they could have planned ahead at least a little to minimize the taxpayers' cost no?
My shop is right in that area. Good thing I'm almost always in my truck when I drive Kapiolani. But I do roll through in the Lexus from time to time. You guys with stiffer suspension and rubber bands must really feel it.

I hear you. Just like on South Street where they just paved it. It was all nice and smooth. Then a week later they start to cut some sections here and there. Why? i dont know.

I totally agree that Kapiolani's roadway is jacked up! It's kinda worse for me since usually pass by there nighttime and sometimes I don't see all the deeper areas and my car gets hit once in a while *sigh
