Default Brakes are looking yellow/orange

Hey guys the 'noob' is back. hahaha.

I was washing my car in this crap weather when I noticed that my brakes (i'm not sure if they're the rotors or whatever the correct terminology...) but the big circle part has a yellow/orange film on it. I wiped it with my finger and it partially comes off but I wasn't sure what it was. I'll take some pics when it stops raining. anyone have this problem?

thanks!

P.S. the meet pics looook siiiick.. too bad I missed out. Can't wait for the next one cuz.

If it's the rotor/disc and it gets water on it, it will rust (surface rust). If that's what your talking about, that's normal. After depressing the brakes a couple of time while driving it'll go away. Nothing to worry about.
