Default Tint Shops on Oahu

Well....I was just wondering if there would be any tint shops you guys would recommend and if you guys can help me find a cheap one. What I'am looking for is a ceramic type of tint and if you guys would know anyone that can do a good job for less or about $400. So far the only cheapest offer I got was $396.

dont go to t&t like me. huge rip off price, many other good options out there. as long as ur tint is ceramic its basically designed to not break, hence why they give life time protection. if u get ur car detailed, go ask tod haha, he knows someone that does every thing >_>

Thnx Guyz! Well....seems like the only other places I need to check out is in Wahiawa. Plus when someone offered Al's tinting....I was like...."what?!" Al's tinting offered me $400.

I always ask for a discount and they always give me one. I had three cars done at small kine companies. All gave me warranties, all went bad, all were out of business when I went back.

Aloha,

I believe "you get what you pay for". I've been to Al's with no discounts, but no problems either. I thought I had some bubbles that didn't dry properly and they said to bring it back, no hassles.

Ceramic tint is only good if you get the front windshield tinted too. I got quoted $380 and $220 windshield for my RX and just got the same quote for my GS.

I went to see the guys at Midnight and they quoted me $350 for my wifes ES for the ceramic. You can try there I'll probably be taking my wifes car there but I'm getting the supreme tint. Which is basically the non-fading smoke film. It's going to match her car perfect I think since her car is Charcoal gray.

Which tint store carries Llumar films? I need to tint my front windows to match the OEM green tint in my Touareg. I hear Llumar made a tint to match the OEM tint.

Have you checked w/ Al's? I know they have a Mercedes OEM Blue tint, but not sure about VW OEM.
