I am looking for an early tow hitch reciever. I want to put a hitch on my GX and love the way the early one looks. It tucks up into the the little nook on the bumper perfectly. The newer hitches all hang down and have the full cross member support.

I know that the older one is not that strong and that is the reason that they no longer sell it ( I am not going to to tow my 30' Cruiser with it) I just want a hitch to put a cargo carrier onto.

Anyone switch theirs out for a beefier one or just want to get rid of theirs?

Hello i was just reading your request. i have a gx470 with the receiver. Mines goes in the middle of the bumper. I think its the same as you were asking for has 2 main bolts that hold it up not connected to the subframe.
