Los Angeles Dealer Recommendation?
I'm in the market for a GX within the next few weeks, and was hoping someone could give me a heads up as to their preferred sales rep (or dealer) in the LA area. Thanks in advance, and my apologies if this is in the wrong sub forum.
Currently in the process of transferring my M6 'Vert lease to another buyer since I wanted an SUV with extra space. I'm over the whole sports car phase in life and am ready for some smooth Lexus riding! Considered the X5, but the service experience at the BMWs dealerships has gotten on my nerves over the past few years.

Welcome to Club Lexus, slamit13 and GX460Lexus!
Slamit13,
I think you are in the correct sub forum. This is the 2nd gen GX 460 forum. I completely understand being over the sports car phase of life. There was a point in time that all I wanted was sports(y) cars. But then I just got tired of the harsh ride and the aggressive driving style that a lot of sports cars seem to induce. So when it got time to buy another car, I bought a 2004 Lexus RX330, and I have no plans on going back to anything with a "sporty" ride. A buttery smooth ride (with buttery smooth leather) is so much better than a sporty ride. I recently test drove an X3 (just for fun), and yes it handles much better than the RX, but the ride is so much harsher. Another weird thing I noticed when I drove the X3, is that tough leather on the seats made it difficult to get comfortable. The seats just seems really rough. I wouldn't want to road trip in an X3, that's for sure. I suppose the smooth leather and ride of the RX has spoiled me.
+1 on Longo. I have family out in that area still (I used to live out on the west coast), and they refuse to go to any other dealer in the area.

I found what I wanted for the right price on cars.com, and it ended up being at Santa Monica Lexus. There were competing cars at Torrance/South Bay and Jim Faulk/Beverly Hills.
As far as service goes, I got the platinum extended warranty/service plan, and I take it to Torrance to get serviced. Torrance has a much bigger facility (it's the size of an aircraft hanger), and it's right next door to all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ. I love getting my oil changed...
