Going through a similar process, so I'll weigh in as the new guy....
The used 2014 base GX's around Denver/Boulder are going for 49/50k, so I'm not sure it's such a bad deal unless you can truly find a new 2014/2015 with Nav and whatever additional "non-base" features you have for $47k. But like others have said, the dealers typically have way more room to negotiate on new inventory vs. used cars.
