Operating factory rear DVD
So I just got my 2015 gx460 yesterday. I am used to being able to quickly change from the radio to DVD for the kids while driving in my old Escalade.
Is there a way to do this without the remote from the front seat while driving? I am not asking to see the video as I know that's only possible if the emergency break is engaged. My oldest daughter is only 5 and I don't want her to to lose/break/spill something on the remote. I would also like them to be able to hear it without the headphones.
Thanks!!

I have a 2012 so I am not sure how the newer models work but on mine you can turn on the rear monitors and turn on the sound with the front screen but you can't turn on the actual picture of the movie without the remote and when you change disks you have to use the remote again to turn on the picture.. This is one of the dumbest things I have ever experienced with the rear monitors in any vehicle. With my old GX470 and my LS600 this wasn't an issue. I went to the dealer, read the manual and asked here and nobody could figure it out. Hopefully the newer models are different and someone can answer your question.
