GX460 2015 Nav speed?
I am looking at buying a GX460 2015 to replace my GX470 2006.
I looked at one at the dealer yesterday and played with the nav system I like the fact that it still has a touch screen, but I was concerned that the Nav took forever to load. Is the Nav system very slow to update as you are driving? I am thinking that if it is a second late to tell me about a turn, or must visibly recalculate if I miss a turn or decide to go a different way, it will be pretty much unusable. I want this car for long trips to new places so the navigation system is very important to me.
I don't think I have ever seen "recalculating" on my 2006 no matter how or where I drive. My 2007RX has better screen resolution but hesitates just enough to make it not dependable.
So will I be happy with the navigation system in this regard?
Thanks.

I have a 14 GX, and the Nav/Radio is slow to start up.
It stays on the warning screen for a while, then syncs the phone, loads the nav, etc. But once things load up, there isn't a bad lag. Things work normally.

Yes, it is SLOW at start up but once it is up, speed is OK.
ALL NEWER Lexus Navi have this "Recalculating" feature as if you have missed an exit/turn. I think this is an awesome feature.

The old ones definitely recalculated a new path if you missed a turn. But they did it so fast that you never saw it say "recalculating" - they just did it.
