The Bridgestone Duels tires that come OEM really blow. I have only 18k on my GX460 2013 and I already noticed the inner part of my drivers tire worn? WTH? I bet if I tried to complain about the warranty they will say it is my alignment as usual...Come on a new car?

Anyways, it looks like I'm going for the Michelin LTX MS2's....Question...

Does it only come with White letterings on the side for the stock 265-60-18's? If so, does anyone have a picture of it on their car. Want to see how it looks...

I don't know the answer to your question but the larger size that I bought has OWL and I put the OWL on the inside.

White letters on one side, black on the other. Just tell the shop how you'd like them mounted (go with OWL on the inside).

White letters out looks ok on redneck old pickups and a select few classic muscle cars, otherwise-black letters out.

Ya. Wasn't sure if they were directional.

Anyways, I just ordered my LTX MS2. One thing the guy warned me about was the fact that they were 1 under the normal H speed rating of the tire. I told the guy this is a truck based SUV and I won't be going over 85mph in it anyways.

Anyways, anyones thoughts on this decision for the LTX MS2 vs. say the Latitude Tour HPs?

I swapped our Latitudes with the LTX MS2s when we took delivery of our 2014 GX. I have 13,000 miles on them and they look like new. They ride great and are very highly recommended, you won't be disappointed. The speed rating is a non-issue to me as like you said, this is an SUV.

As JDSTL white letter only look good on muscle cars you are right my friend. My 70' Cuda likes white letters facing out.

I took my HP Tour's off and put the LTX2's on and it's a much better ride, much better handling and much better snow traction.

The funny thing about the statement, "Michelin LTX MS2 are better handling than the Michelin Latitude Tour HPs " is kinda odd since the HPs are suppose to be made for the X5, Cayenne, etc. where handling is better and ride is harsher. Plus, the HPs are suppose to be softer so you would figure they handle better.

Oh well, we shall see how the LTX Ms2 sare. I'll give my feedback on them. I'm glad to get rid of the junk Bridgestones after 18k miles. Not sure why they are so worn after just 18k. Lexus did a bad job for such a nice SUV in picking the Bridgestones.

I just got a call from my service manager. On my 2013 with 25,000 miles he is telling me two tires need to be replaced and the other two Bridgestones will maybe last another 5,000. That is really sad for an OEM tire. I am going to look at changing over to the Michelin LTX M/S2. Interesting, he told me there is no mileage guarantee on the Bridgestones. The Michelin Latitudes he carries come with a 55,000 mile warranty

The stock Bridgestones (Tuaranza EL 42) on the LS 460 last 15K to 20K miles and they are not too good either. I have an LS and a GX. I just put Michelin LTX / MS2s on the GX and it rides much better. I have switched to Bridgestone Tuaranza Serenitys on the LS. They ride better and are quieter. I have no idea why Lexus puts useless tires on new cars.
