Your going to need some kind of programmer like Hypertech. Also I'm curious now what is the GX governed to top speed wise. I use to have a Grand Cherokee V8 when I was young and it would peg out at 115 MPH. No more of that! Now I'm grown and have kids :-)

Because it's his / her vehicle and that's what he / she wants to do, that's reason enough.

The speed limit dealer be for several reasons: for security purposes, the standard rubber designed for this speed. If we take the highway, security will be ensured, tires replaced, I think the speed of the car 160mph will be quite comfortable.

Hypertech has not helped. They have no basis of my car. Thank you.

160 mph isn't happening in this thing without a limiter or falling off a cliff. I'd contact a tuner that does a lot of Lexus tunes, they'd probably be your best bet if you are dead-set on removing the limiter.

Make sure you get some tires rated for higher speeds and report back with the top speed if you are able to remove it.

Got there today, at least indicated, but backed off before I hit a limiter. Surprising how strong it was pulling to that point.

Russia is a different world from the US. Good luck and stay safe.

For what it's worth... last week I actually found the limiter.

GX cut fuel at an indicated 114MPH, GPS (waze) showed 109.

It's a fairly unsettling feeling, all of a sudden you just lose power. As before, GX was pulling strong up to that point, I was probably at around 50% throttle.

And again surprisingly everything feels very stable at speed. Not supercar stable, but not the lift-feeling floatiness that you get in a lot of other cars. Though I'd imagine you could get a lot of aerodynamic lift on this thing before it has any impact on the 5k lbs curb weight.

Looked at the fuel economy history and it showed under 10 for that period.
