There were a few threads asking if replacing the high bean with LEDs would see an improvement. I created this short clip showing the difference between low beam HIDs and LEDs highbeam.
I was traveling in Yosemite so even at 7:30pm it was pretty dark because of the mountains and trees.

Is that on your 2010? What did you do about the DRLs?

EDIT: Also what brand of bulbs are you using?

I turned off DRL. Because DRLs only use 1/2 power, these will flicker out of the box. I also installed the harness to give them full power but that maybe too bright for incoming traffic at certain light, pre dawn etc... so I turned off DRL in the menu. During daytime driving, it wouldn't be noticed though.
I got the C6s from Amazon. There are quite a few of them similar to this brand too. I think they are basically the same. Since I don't really use high beam very often, these should be good for now.
