Default Jump start issues

A few weeks ago I made the mistake of using my wife's GX as a donor vehicle to jump someone off. We noticed the dvd players became finicky after that. Today, my wife started the vehicle and the traction control and check engine lights stayed lit, and the low range indicator flashed continuously. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

Well never mind, it turns out to be the secondary air injection emissions system. A 1400 dollar fix.

Ouch!
Not that I know anything about that issue. I might get a second opinion and make sure it is not just a blown fuse of some sort that would be a $20 fix. My Highlander did something similar last year and the dealership came up with all kinds of crazy "fixes". All we needed was a new brake fuse. :/ I love my grease monkey brother!

Yes, this is why I was asking how the cables were hooked up. If hooked up incorrectly it could be any of several major or minor electrical issues.
