Talking Just Purchaced 2014 GX460
Happy to say after having almost all the models in the line up, finally purchased a GX loving it so far. Well see what mods come to follow! Wondering if there are illuminated door sills. BTW it was a starfire / black luxury. (no air suspension or heated steering wheel or power third row)

Congratulations, It can't be a Luxury model, mine has heated steering wheel, illuminated door sills and power third row seats.

It sure does not sound like you have the luxury model since all the things you listed as NOT having are standard on the Luxury.

...curious, what models were you comparing the GX to? What was a close 2nd?

All of them were great, lately we've been wanting a change out of lexus / Toyota but the cars really are not that great once out of the family... its a trip. I also liked the infiniti qx80 but my wife absolutely hated it.

...that's crazy... those were my runner up's too! I finally decided that I didn't want to mess around with reliability issues any more with MB. I also really like the new Lexus look too! I also didn't want such a big car like the LX, Landcruiser, or Sequoia.
