*Photos* GX460/Prado without 3rd Row seats
This was taken from matt150's build on the prado point forum. The seats are virtually the same as the GX460's except they are manually controlled like the current 4Runners.

They look identical to the 4Runner 3rd row seats. Each of those seats weigh 50 pounds for a combined 100 pounds. If one plans on keeping the GX for the long haul and doesn't use the 3rd row, why keep it around? The vehicle will lose 100 pounds and gain additional cargo room . But if one plans on trading it in eventually, keep the 3rd row so the resale value won't take a hit.

Nah, I guess if you kept the metal exposed you might notice some noise but who wants bare metal. The rubber mat in my GX is pretty thick and I do utilize this space with cargo that would dampen road noise. I didn't remove any carpet so the seats were on bare metal.
