went to dealership today, the service manager told me it is just a display to inform you be gentle when pushing the pedal. it will not make any other difference, it sounds weird for me why do they need this feature, indeed it does nothing!

I think the lexus rep mentioned in your original post thought you were asking him about the "Eco" mode in their hybrids. I have a Prius and the Eco mode does exactly what he/she originally explained to you.

Intermittent illumination of cluster lights should be reserved for system warnings - not driving style nannies.
**I can't find a way to shut the green ECO light off other than driving in S. Looked in the manual and it doesn't indicate the Green ECO can be disabled. The one in the center screen (with the bar) can just be paged off (I usually leave the temp there).**

please see page 84 of the owners manual at top.
There is no switch to turn this off or on per manual. I dont recall any way of turning this off also on both of my gxs

+1. Thanks for reminding me - I need to do this today. 1,200 miles in and I hadn't done it yet on the 14'.
