went to dealership today, the service manager told me it is just a display to inform you be gentle when pushing the pedal. it will not make any other difference, it sounds weird for me why do they need this feature, indeed it does nothing!

I think the lexus rep mentioned in your original post thought you were asking him about the "Eco" mode in their hybrids. I have a Prius and the Eco mode does exactly what he/she originally explained to you.

+1. Thanks for reminding me - I need to do this today. 1,200 miles in and I hadn't done it yet on the 14'.

Intermittent illumination of cluster lights should be reserved for system warnings - not driving style nannies.

**I can't find a way to shut the green ECO light off other than driving in S. Looked in the manual and it doesn't indicate the Green ECO can be disabled. The one in the center screen (with the bar) can just be paged off (I usually leave the temp there).**

I believe it's in the steering wheel controls menu. The same place you can turn off the park sensors and enable 2nd gear starts.

I'll look in a bit when I head out.

It cannot be turned off in the 2014's. Option is no longer available in the steering wheel controls.

Why cross bar did you get installed? Like a swaybar?

Incorrect, it can be turned on and off via the steering wheel controls.

Can you please share a video or instructions? It is not available in my menu. My guess is it is possible on your GX because you have the Driver Support Package. I do not.

Okay, when you press your menu button the the steering wheel it presents you with options. Instead of pressing it, press and HOLD the button. Then it will prompt you to turn off eco indicator. In that menu you can also switch to metric units and change the language.
