Default There should be a sticky thread called Interesting Features of the GX460

For example, the power outlet in the back (good for appleTV, xbox etc)
All come with trailer brake wiring (the hitch is a dealer installed option)
The remote start range via key fob is useless(~20 yards)
The 'automatic lock' setting in the nav is just how long until the car re-locks itself after you press the unlock on the key fob...not how long after you walk away

What's up with the door handle press to lock/unlock btw?
Is there a way you can say a POI and get directions (like "goto bass pro") or do you have to type it in?

etc...

...this would make a good sticky if organized.

how about the ability to "mark" sites on nav while on the go...I use this feature in my T4R to make single-to-double-to-single lane transitions so I can get ahead of the pack

Also helps in marking the HOV lane exit/entry points to get around slow traffic.

No more interesting features? There's a 120v plug in the cargo area...didn't know that was there.

How about (for years) Lexus' ability to advertise pre-collision as an option in all marketing materials, but inability to delivery it without a special order.

That's your dealer not the maufacturer. Most dealer's will not purchase the PCS as it is packaged with a more expensive group and makes the vehicle tough to move quickly on a lot. For those few buyers who insist on it, the dealer will be happy to special order and the buyer's will generally be pleased to wait for it. I agree that they could probably move more of these equipped units then they currently are. Dealerhsips don't like these units as they usually sit on the floorplans for a while waiting for the needle in the haystack to show up and purchase it. Dealer inventory is all about paying the least amount of interest on the floor, and attaining the highest price for the floor. The higher the priced inventory, the less likely you will be able to move it on a GX.

Easier on them to special order and ensure not only what package the buyer gets, but also the color combo to go with it. My sticker with Driver Support Pkg and RSE was over $68K. That's a far cry form the base $49K they advertise for entry into a GX.
