Intuitive Parking Assist & sensor questions

I leave mine on all the time except when towing or snow. Remember this system is not an absolute, there are times when the system can not detect certain objects (like poles).

Thanks, that was the way I think I was headed, I actually thought I would be berated a bit for leaving the nanny on, since we are "men" and know how to drive and always know where our bumpers are . . .
Stationary objects do have a way of sneaking up on you and it is nice having the feature; as a manual button, I never turned it on. Just wasn't sure if there was a downside to having it on full-time. Thanks for the comments! KH

I leave the sonar on my Tundra on all the time (except when I take it to the dealer and they turn it off--unbeknownst to me). I've taken some crap for it from a buddy who drives a Dodge (but he doesn't have sonar, so he wouldn't understand anyways).
I occasionally park my truck in my garage (next to the wifes GX) so I like knowing where the corners, walls and the wifes rig are so I don't hit them).

Intuitive Parking Assist - can I turn off only the back sensors?
I typically leave IPA system engaged all the time. I use a platform bike rack off the rear hitch that requires me to turn the system off. Is there a way to turn the back sensors off while leaving the front sensors engaged? I have searched this forum, as well as the manuals, but have not found a way to achieve this.
Thanks

Parallel parking assist
i have a 2014 base with premium package and intuitive parking assist. I was reading the manual saw parallel parking assist, but do not see the feature available on my GX. Does anyone have information on this feature?

I could be wrong, and probably am cause I am still figuring things out on my GX, but I think the park assist refers to the proximity sensors only.

Lead Lap
Correct. I have the intelligent park assist on my 600hL and I tried it just to see how it works and it sucks. It takes way to long to set up and have it park for you. I can park myself much faster. If I tried to use it and someone was behind me waiting for me to park they would go nuts. It is a total waste IMO.

I was wondering about this very same thing!
The manual clearly shows that there should be optional camera or line views available, but I have not been able to "coax" them out.
Do they require special conditions for the icon to pop up? Or is this a case of the manual being made ahead of time, and the features were axed for production at the last minute?
