Default Anybody changed wheels on a '14 yet?

I know it's a long shot, but I am not a fan of the luxury wheels on my '14 GX.

I want to change them out, but in looking a tire racks online wheel viewer, I can't find one that looks good. Too hard to tell if not in person, or a picture.

Just wondering if anybody has changed wheels on a '14 yet, and has pics. Looking for options.....

I got the crappy Bridgestone tires too, so even upsizing the wheels would be considered. I think the wheel/tire combo is WAY too small for the wheel arch too. They look really small for the GX IMHO.

TIA

I know what you mean when you say too small--I agree. They really need a option set of 20's for anyone that "Wants" them. Simple like the 20's on the LX would be great.

I did a lot of wheel searching and found carid.com has a lot of choices. I used there site to find the wheel I wanted and then had a local Butler Tire Co. use there distributor to get it.

Maybe Chip Foose could come up with one for us! You are so right about Car ID lots of choices there for my '13 too!

A caution to all looking to buy aftermarket wheels. I wanted to buy from a local shop so I could rely on them to make sure all is good. This was a smart choice due to my DUB 2 piece wheels will not balance properly and my local shop insisted that there distributor have DUB cut a new set rather than send the already installed wheels back. If I had the setup shipped directly to me without a local company I think you can see how the issues would be frustrating.

F sport is a good way to keep it in the family. You can upsize the rubber if needed:

I don't know why the FSport ones are still 18inch. I feel like there is something going on with the wheel wells?

Great choice with the F-Sport wheels! Lexus needs to offer more F-Sport options for the GX!

The F Sport wheels are better than the Lux wheels IMHO. But they still look small in the wheel well....

Did you go with a larger tire Lolrax? What size tire are you using? edit: looks like a stock 265/65/18 to me.

When you go with the F Sport wheels do you get Michelins? All the GXs I'm looking at on dealer lots have Bridgestones.

Sorry those aren't my pics, I was quoting the other guy! I ended up using the 20 inch wheels from my 4Runner Limited, but truth be told they are too thin at 7inches wide.

From the side though, I feel like the bigger wheel really makes the GX way more substantial. A while back, someone posted the link for the Russian GX forum and they had testimonials of people who put 20s on, and they all said that if your rubber is 265/50R20 you will have no rubbing issues or anything.

Here are some more images of the f sport wheels. The 18s are consistent with the GX's offroad heritage, but would look fantastic in a 20....

I like the F-Sport wheels. Wish the were 19" wheels. Perfect balance and you can still get some meaty tires for 19" wheels
