Default anyone tried spacers on the GX?

I'm getting a set of F sport wheels for my 14 GX460 and thinking if spacers would work well on the car and give it a slightly wider stance? What do people think? Does anyone think it could hurt the drivability or damage the car?

thanks

Not sure but I would leave alone as i'm not a fan of your tires sticking out past your wheelwells----but I would love to see picts when you have them installed--what color is your GX? when are you putting rims on.

I just ordered them, so should be here next week sometime. I definitely don't want them to stick out past the wheel wells. There is a gap between the tire and wheel well, maybe an 1 inch that may look better with spacers.

Definitely want to see some pictures. The GX could use a more aggressive stance!

It seems like the SpiderTrax spacers are the ones of choice for the 4Runner guys. Did you order those?

I am not a big fan of spacers.

I would go for a slightly wider tire before I would go with spacers. You can go a bit wider on the same rims as long as you insure the circumference doesn't change. That would fill up your wheel well better than a spacer which just shifts the tire out more but doesn't really 'fill' the wheel well.

I think you might enjoy some pictures of what Arctic Trucks does with the Prado http://www.arctictrucks.com/Frontpag.../Photo-Gallery
