Default Power running boards or lower running boards

I have a 2015 Luxury with driver assist package.
I suffered a line of duty (LOD) injury that has caused permanent damage to both legs a couple years ago.
Over the last few years I have not needed to do much driving or traveling. With the end of the pandemic I find I need to travel more often for work.
Im finding it increasingly difficult to get in and out of my GX.
I need a step about 2 inches lower than the running board.
I looked at AMP, which offers power running boards for the 4 Runner, but when I contacted them, they indicated they would not work on the GX.
Can I add Rockers that would extend below my running boards?
I have also looked at trading in my GX for an LX, but I just can't swing it.
Hoping to get some guidance on how I can keep my GX and make it easier to get in and out.

I'm not aware of anyone adding rock sliders below the running boards.

There are numerous electric "Prado" running board options if you start searching for them on Ebay or Aliex..... I don't recall anyone installing one of those kits from China on a GX though.

Example:

There below door trim may not match or might require entire removal of the plastics below door.
