Default My New GX

Hi Folks,
Just bought a new 2015 GX 460, loving it. Based on the specs I was able to get a drive-out price of $55000 with 0.5% financing from lexus. Just wanted to check with other recent owners how my price is. I know it doesn't matter now that i have the vehicle and as long as I like it, but still just curious.

2015 Base, Silver exterior, black leather interior
Premium package
Headlamp washers
leather/wood steering
BS monitor + cross traffic alert
cargo mats
exhaust tip

Drive out price 55K with 0.5% APR financing. Let me know what you all think.

Thanks!

Congrats but this means little. We need more information...

what is the msrp?
How much is sales tax? 0% or 15%? How much is your registration and tag?

That's because we don't offer .5% financing on new cars....

In the past, there have been occasions that Lexus offered 0.5% financing on select new vehicles (ie. sometimes "December to Remember" event) but I'm not sure about current promotions since I am not in the market for a new car.

Dec2Rem Rates are
.9 on certain models up to 60 months

Since I have been with Lexus though the GX has never had any special rates attached to them for this event, it's based solely of of credit worthiness of the buyer and current bank rates.

Default Certified Pre-Owned

Most of the prices I see here are for new GX's...I've found a CPO 2014 model I'm eyeing but can't help but feel the price is a bit high....

2014 GX460
10,360 miles
Involved in rear end collision and bumper replaced

Features:
Premium package
Wood steering wheel/shift ****

List price $49,895.00. The same vehicle brand new would list for $56k

Does this seem high to anyone else? They said they wouldn't budge a penny on the price...I've been watching this car sit on the lot for 3 months now and they still said the same thing yesterday.

Also, for what it's worth the car is at the dealership where I purchased the 2006 IS250 that I currently own. No loyalty discount would be given.

While the GX holds it's value well forget that one. Go new. 10,000 + miles and it was in an accident?! Does the accident show up on the carfax report? I say No way Jose!

Obviously never give them their asking price, but yeah, that's an awful deal. You could get a new 2015 for almost that same price.

Looking to get a 2015 GX460. Do you think it's worth to wait until the end of the year for a better deal or does anyone know of any new incentives? If I did a factory order would that get me a better price rather than buying from the dealership assuming they do not have the options I wanted.

I'm in the same situation. From what I've expirienced shopping these past 2 months, big (3-4k) discounts on the GX is hard, especially in the Seattle area, maybe because SUVs are somewhat high demand for rain/snow. Negotiating probably works better with a car they already have on the lot, especially if they have a few that aren't selling within a couple weeks.

The only "deal" is the base model lease for $499. Discounts on special orders are pretty much non-existent. Nothing for GXs on December to Remember promo

Good Luck!

I just picked up a new 2015 at Sewell Lexus for $400 under invoice plus they have a good selection. Good deals are out there you just have to find the right sales person.
