with gas prices being low and the bad weather, there is a huge demand for suvs, including LX and GXs especially. Prices firmer compared to past years

Those losers tried to give me $1800 off for my loyalty. Steer clear of Lexus of Austin.
I live in Austin, TX and am looking for the GX 460 with Premium package. Can you share who your contact is at Sewell? Your deal sounds much better than what I was quoted.

Thanks!

Started to quote new GX after a 2014 I was negotiating out of state became a bidding war.

Base Gx460
Blind spot monitor
Navigation pkg
Intuitive parking assist
Tow hitch with ball mount
Preferred pkg (cargo mat, net, wheel lock)

MSRP 54,483
51,473 +TTL so 3000 off. Im thinking this deal is only ok. I kept telling them I wanted to be at 49,000 which is about invoice.

I am in Oregon and my dealer only offers me 2k lower than MSRP. I am not happy and I only expect 50,000 for the base+navigation+intuitive parking assist.......

Base Gx460
Blind spot monitor
Navigation pkg
Intuitive parking assist
Preferred pkg (cargo mat, net, wheel lock)
Exhaust Tip
Tinted Windows Front and Rear

MSRP $53,834

Ended up getting it for 49000 +TTL so 4800+ off. Purchased back in April, just been to busy to come here to post. It took them a while to come down to that price. I did have a trade in that they made a decent offer on and I used that as a bargaining chip to get them to come down another $500.00. They did give me above KBB trade in value for our BMW 1 series.

Since I have purchased I had the entire front and door edges clear bra wrapped, F sport wheels put on, and weather-tech mats and door visors.

Default Considering getting a GX 460

MSRP: $56709
OTD $57858.55 = $52800 + Fees
BLIND SPOT MONITOR W/REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT
EXHAUST TIP
HEADLAMP WASHERS
PREMIUM PACKAGE
MAHOGANY WOOD & LEATHER TRIMMED STEERING WHEEL
PREFERRED ACCESSORY PACKAGE

Dealership is not local and I asked for the invoice. Dealership claims it's something they can only show me at the dealership. I don't know if that is true and wondering if they are just trying to get me there. I'm in NorCal.

I feel like it's a great deal since dealership is knocking almost $4000 off MSRP and OTD price is just a tad over MSRP. I'm in no rush and may want to wait until the end of the year for better deals.

Use NADA to find the invoice. Based on your options, invoice is $52,145.

Do you have a breakdown of the all the "fees"? $5000 seems like an awful lot of fees, is that including up-front taxes too? Pending what they are charging for fees, it's a good deal if they are really giving you invoice, that is the best you can expect on the GX.

That's CA for you. His numbers look correct, around invoice and an OTD ~$58k. CA DMV has an online calculator which shows all the mandatory CA fees (taxes, license, and fees).

Hi guys,

I want to purchase a 2015 lexus GX 460.

I went to the dealership yesterday and they offered me a demo model with 380 miles driven on it.
They said that they will give me ~5000.00 off MSRP, and that it is a special discount.
Obviously the car is used as there are scuff marks on the inside, but they could probably be finished off and cleaned easily.

Based on all the other deals that most people have gotten here (roughly 5000.00 below MSRP), I don't really think that this is such a good deal.
Do you guys feel that I could negotiate better? than the ~5000.00 off MSRP?
They said that they would give the car to me for $52597.00. They also mentioned that I would be getting 1.99% financing.

I would appreciate any advice and help.

Thanks a lot for your contributions. Hope to be a GX owner in the near future!

BTW I will not be trading in and I am looking to finance the vehicle.

Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross- Traffic Alert $800.00
Power Retracting / Auto Dimming Outer Mirrors
Headlamp Washers $100.00
Mahogany Wood & Leather trimmed steering wheel and shift **** $310.00
Premium Package $4710.00
All Weather Floor Mats w/Cargo $270.00
Cargo Mat, Cargo Net, Wheel Locks, & Key Glove $250.00
Courtesy Delivery Sticker $0.00
Exhaust Tip $129.00
Tow Hitch w/Ball Mount $599.00

Total Optional Equipment $7168.00
Vehicle Base Model $49485.00
Delivery Processing and Handling $925.00

Total MSRP* $57578.00

Discounted price from dealer $52597.00
