Hello,
Been a long time lurker, and now a member of the forum. Thats a great price you paid for your GX 460. I received the following quote for a 2015 GX premium. MSRP $56183, sale price : $52683. For a 36 month 10K a lease with all fees and taxes (I am in GA, so full tax has to be paid on the purchase price but can be rolled into the payments). The RV is .58%, Money factor is .00140. With all fees and taxes rolled in, monthly payment quoted is $865 per month which I feel to be high. I should be able to do better and start from invoice?
thanks
KRIS

Anyone have a particular point of contact at Northside Lexus in Houston?
I'm looking for a 2015 GX 460 black premium package with black interior. I'm yet to get any dealer to offer a deal like any of these listed on the forum. MSRP at $56300 what should I be paying?

thanks tecman!
I would go off the invoice price as many have suggested. Ask to see what the invoice is, and base your offer on that. I got mine below invoice by getting offers from multiple dealers.

It's been 5 months now Living with my 2014 GX460
Well, what I should really say is "living with the wife's 2014 GX460."
She had a 2004 GX470 and loved it and we finally broke down and decided to get her a new car. We rarely buy new and I was actually looking for used but getting the GX460 for $750 below invoice and a $12,500 trade in for our 2004 was too good a deal to pass up.
So now we have been living with it for 5 months and I gotta tell you this is one tremendously well designed machine. I drive a 2008 BMW 750LI and the Lexus GX460 is better in every single way you could imagine:
It is not the sexiest looking truck although I am trying to get used to the nice new grill. It would be much better looking if it looked like the Mercedes GL450 or GL550 but the way it rides and the way everything works so perfectly is almost unbeatable on the market.

- It is a much better ride
- The Navigation is so much better
- The intermittant wipers work perfectly and much better than the BMW
- The Blind Spot Monitoring if fantastic and will probably save us thousands of dollars in insurance

I wish more people would respond to these questions.
Ask them for invoice price. Should be 4500 off MSRP. They make money on dealer hold back from the factory. Even at invoice price there's probably some more room to negotiate just depends on the dealership.

Lead Lap
I got my 2015 Luxury with $4K off MSRP.
I still don't really think that is going to tell you much, if you have a trade-in. They're going to make their money somewhere, whether it be discounting the new or robbing you on the old.
Also, markets are different. I only have 1 dealer in an 80 mile radius, so they're less likely to make deals than someone that lives close to 5 dealers.

Not that I want to torture myself, but did your "sale" price happen to include any discounts based on your trade-in? Did you buy from a Lexus Dealer?
I just paid roughly the same amount for a used 2013 with Nav.
The best I've seen on a new 2014 is around 48K for a base model, no nav.
