Okay, most likely, mine will have the OEM Michelin tires on it when it arrives. If not, I will have to talk to the dealer about the LTX tires.

I doubt the dealer will swap them for the LTXs, but they are a much better tire.

I have heard of customers getting credit for the OEM tires and getting a replacement tire of their choice (from the same manufacture) and paying any difference in cost (this may have been a deal with tire manufacture not the Stealer). If you can get this, I would highly recommend taking advantage of it, even if you get the HPs. The HPs are a nice riding tire but they do not last!

BTW - The HPs cost more than the LTX MS2s, to replace.

My dealer had no issues installing MS/2 on my GX when I inquired. They were even knowledgeable enough to know that even though MS/2 has a lower speed rating it's still rated higher than GX speed limiter.

Does this tire only come with white letters or you can order them with the blackball? I hate the white letters, that should be enough for me not to buy them!

I had the installer mount the tires with the white letters to the inside.

I have also heard similar stories, but it depends on the dealer and the situation (i.e. how much profit is in the car after the negotiation).

Yeah the HPs are good highway tires, they just don't last very long and they don't have very good snow traction.

Do you have to reset anything when you get new tires like the computer or the tire sensors?

Checked again today, they only come in raised white letters. I checked with Michelin and my dealer again. I don't know who told you they can order them in black wall, but they're wrong. I'm having mine turned inside out with the letters on the inside.

The LTX M/S only comes in outline white letter. No big deal, just mount the letters on the inside.

You were right, they only come in white letters so I had mine flipped inside. What a big difference, I noticed it as soon as I drove it off the tire shop. It feels like the tires have a good grip on the road. I got a wheel alignment while I was there too! Now let it snow, let it snow, let is snow...
