Hello,

Car Model: 2013 GX 460 with Nav.
Phone: Lumia 900 (unlocked) with T-mobile.

I was able to sync my phone (and its contacts) to GX with no problem. However, I noticed two problems:

1. When I use voice dialer of the GX ("Dial John Doe Work"), the receiving party's phone show me as a blocked number
2. When I receive a call from my friend's number, it doesn't show the contact name, only number.

II noticed that when I receive a call, it has a digit 1 in front of the number, I think that maybe why GX doesn't show the contact's name. Anybody ran into the above two problems? Can somebody offer me some help or guidance??

I've never used voice dialing on my 12 but I have my contacts downloaded in to the system with names and have speed dials set up with names as well and I never get a name in the display when I receive a call, just a number.

Thank you for your reply. When you receive the call, how is the number displayed? For example, if your contact's phone number is 987-654-3210, does GX show up as 1 987 654 3210?

I do not recall, when I go out later I will take a look and let you know.

I haven't gone out to look but I just realized that all of my numbers that are in my contacts are in there with a 1-xxx-xxx-xxxx since Verizon will not be able to complete the call when I'm out of the area without the "1".

I use T-Mobil...anyway we can get rid of the 1 ? Or maybe edit the contact on the GX??

Ok, As I said all of my contacts in my phone have a "1" as the first digit, I checked the calls shown on the nav screen, all, incoming, missed and called and none show the "1" on the screen. I havent received a call to see if the "1" shows up when a call is live but the history shows no "1". I was bumming too when I realized that even though you have your contacts imported that only the number appears and not the name of the caller.
