If you are referring to the roll-up or hard folding cover that goes between the dash and the windshield to reflect the sun's rays then, yes I use one here in Texas. I use a roll-up shade in my GX. I have the hard, folding style in another vehicle and find it to be a pain because of its weight an bulkiness.
