I've been eyeing this vehicle for a while and finally pulled the trigger when I saw a white 2013 GX460 on a dealer's lot. All I can say is wow! This thing is amazing! The f-sport grill actually looks nice as hell in person and I think white color contributes to the black grill.

Haven't done much driving yet but so far it drives like a dream. Planning to take the car somewhere farther in a next couple of weeks. Couldn't get my wife out of the car cause she wanted to stay and explore every button/gadget it has guess it's a good sign.

Are those all stealer add-ons to a base model or an actual new F-Sport model?

This is the same vehicle you get if you build GX on a Lexus website and select "SportDesign" package. So this is an actual new F-Sport factory model.

I actually really like my premium wheels, but the F-Sport grill (I think), would make a nice cosmetic change to my 2012 . . . Do y'all think that this would be an easy remove-and-replace job? Seems a little silly to replace a grill that is perfectly fine, but I'm tempted . . . KH

Looks great and I really like the F-Sport Grille. The only thing I don't like is the dealership badge on the tailgate. I can't stand it when they do that and it is the first thing I take off when I get home.

Congrats. My local dealer has a 2012 with these wheels and grill and it has been on the lot for at least 6 months The sales manager told me it charges too much for these add on items so no one seems to take it yet. They also have 6 used GX460, all 2012 model and less than 20k miles. WHY? it is a small dealer.

Why not ask the sales guy? Are these from people who got out of finance/lease and returned them cause they couldn't afford the trucks or maybe they upgraded to LX when the new front-end got out?

Regarding too much -- F-SPORT comes with ML, auto high-beam, HID, AFS, etc. The add-ons specific to F-SPORT are not that much when compared to a base version with all of the above stuff. It is, however, quite a bit more expensive than just base version with nothing on it.
