Every once in a while when I'm heading into the garage, slightly moving up over the edge from the driveway, the power goes away and there is this clicking sound. What's the deal?

Upon further investigation, I believe the sound is caused by the feature that prevents rolling in reverse when initially starting out.

That's what I thought was making the noise (Hill Start Assist) and why I asked about being on level ground.

My GX does the same thing when I don't give it enough gas to get over the little ridge of the beginning of the garage floor and it starts rolling backwards. It sounds horrible and I don't recall my old GX doing this.

i have no sound on my gx until it rolls backward a few feet, then it starts clicking and then it starts to stop. last time i think it started to move forward as well

the hill start assist can make a quite alarming noise. it's normal though. you should try CRAWL control in an LX570. it's actually the same noise just makes it louder and constantly. kinda scary sounding.
