WOW, ok..... Did you buy it new? Trying to establish if that was a factory install or just another aftermarket install.

This is getting interesting. Misha322, based on your pics I can tell you that it looks OEM based on the sharp edges on the aux cover and the window plates. Not the edges around the pieces but on top where it is angled.

I agree, it looks OEM to me too, which is why I did not think much of it when I purchased it, but was still think about it in the back of my mind as I never seen two color combo before.

Misha322 - I noticed we both have the black interior..maybe the different wood colors are only with the black interior?

I could not live with two different color trims. Since the gray trim doesn't look like wood (but it probably is) and the African bubinga wood looks so nice I would get a complete aftermarket kit that looks like the bubinga and replace the gray pieces. Also there are pieces in the kit that even the OEM doesn't have. If the kit is installed properly it looks really nice!

Over the years I have had pieces of wood trim installed on my Lexus's by folks that do that. On my GX470 I bought a kit from Sherwood that was superior to any other pieces I had seen before. I only installed a few pieces, as not to get too gawdy. I fully recommend them.

I couldn't find a kit for the 460, just the 470.

I ordered a kit. Not the largest, this one has about 30 pieces.

I thought the cup holder and USB compartment doors were made of plastic? Are they made out of wood?

If I'm not mistaken all the trim is (real) African bubinga wood. At one time Yamaha supplied the real wood for Lexus (maybe still).

I bought my wife a new 2010 and the wood is as shown in the pics above - 2 colors - black leather interior. Just assumed they were all like that even though I thought it was a bit strange.
