To debadge or not to debadge GX 460?

Clever! The Lexus badge came with our 2010, but was gone in the current 2012 catalog. For the price of some careful 'prying' and re-polishing of the paint underneath the badge you avoided at least one indication of an older vehicle ... at least to a connoisseur who might notice these things. It certainly cleans up the "barn door"!

@ Cap, thanks for the pic, it looks real nice and without that Lexus emblem it does look cleaner imho.
@ SaniDel, I'm not really interested in looking a year older or newer I just like the cleaner look I guess. I think cars are over badged. It seems like there is a badge or emblem for every option cars have now a days. That's just how I feel.
@T4Fun, if the new 4Runner is any example Toyota is most defiantly cutting corners. I also own an 04 4Runner and love it so much that I was ready to purchase a 2011 until I looked and one. Toyota failed to add options like push button start and HID low beams but more disturbing they removed the remote/secure door that hides the fuel filler cap and also removed the glass embedded glass and replaced it with an ugly cheap mast (non-retractable style) antenna. The sales rep said the 4Runner is returning to its off road roots. I've been educated because apparently those who drive off road prefer less light and prefer things hanging off there exterior like mast style antennas. So stupid, so obvious.

By far the best/safest product on the market for removing most all adhesives (and dozens of other uses). Would not want to be without it!

Amen! Anything you do to modify a vehicle reduces its value. Change nothing and have the dealer do the maintenance so the service records are impeccable.
If you aren't satisfied with your vehicle, trade it, but don't change it!

Yes, that's what I was thinking too. I'll probably take some detailed pics before I remove them as reference just in case I want to re-install them.
