Talk About a Sweet Deal!
As I posted previously I have a 2011 GX460 on special order for $1500 over invoice. From what others have posted, this would have been a good deal for a 2010. Well, as you can see in my signature I also own an IS350. Today I received a letter from Lexus thanking me for being a member of the Lexus family and apologizing for being inconvenienced with a recall (replacing valve springs). To provide peace of mind and confidence in the quality of Lexus vehicles they provided me with an extended power train service agreement (6 years or 100K miles). They also included a $1500 certificate towards the purchase of a new Lexus (good for 1 year). Here is the "SWEET DEAL", I will be getting my new 2011 GX460 for invoice!

Good deal, I got the same 1500.00, but it's too late to use it on my GX 460. I have the extended warranty, so they're also going to give me a 500.00 gift card to be used on parts or service at any Lexus dealer...

Lexus will "bend over backwards" for owners who are experiencing problems with their vehicles, whether it is a design problem or a vehicle-specific problem. For example, we got a new LX ... for free:

It seems that the goodwill generated by satisfied customers and especially by formerly unhappy customers who are now delighted customers is priceless. Much of that goodwill is in the "Lexus Premium" we pay for their products rather than an equivalent, but cheaper vehicle from Toyota or their competitors. However, we recapture some of that if and when we have a problem and Lexus comes to our rescue.
I've appended another example of the good service we have come to expect from our Lexus dealer.
