I have had my car for a couple of weeks now and I have not noticed the hood flexing issue. When the car is parked the hood feels very firm and solid. I have inspected the weather sealing around the hood and all seals are tight. I have opened and closed the hood a couple of times and it was not difficult to close. While driving the GX on the highway I have paided close attention the the hood and did notice a slight flexing on the upper hood closest to the windshield. The car has been driven over some significant bumps on the highway at 60 to 65 mph (I am taking it easy for the first 1000 miles) and the hood is not flexing to the extent that some are reporting. I will observe the hood over the next couple of weeks as I drive the car at higher speeds on the highway.

I took mine on a 400 mile road trip reaching speeds at 90-95 and had zero hood flexing whatsoever. Everthing was solid!
