Default XenonDepot needs your GX460

Hi Guys,

If anyone has a GX 460 with halogen headlights and is interested in upgrading to HID using an HID kit please let me know. We would like to work with a forum member that is interested in putting together a detailed DIY guide similar to the ones found on our HID Kit Testimonials Page.

Hi,

We are looking to work with a forum member who is interested in installing an HID kit in the GX 460. In exchange for a discounted price, we would like the customer to post up an informative thread showing how they installed the kit, before/after comparison shots, and some non biased feedback of the product.

Please take a look at the testimonials page on our website to get an idea of what we are looking for (some are more detailed then others).

EyeKutr,

I believe it does. I don't have a 2010 application guide yet so hoping you guys could shed some light on that.

Yes, it uses 55W H11 halogen bulbs for the low beams.

I have took closer look today and the install will require dust lid modification as the bulb is inside protected.

I think all aftermarket HID install will require u to drill a hole on the dust cover, I think now there is dust cover on every Lexus car

Hi,

That is correct. You would need to drill a hole through the dustcover in order to run the wire going from the bulb to the ballast. Our bulbs will have a grommet on the wires though so that you can reseal the headlight.
