GX Upgrade
Well today, I upgraded to a 2015 GX460 Luxury, with the Driver Support Package. Boy is this thing loaded. The Driver Support package has some nice features. Even though I owned a GX before there is a lot to learn with these upgrades.
The Cross Bars and my Michelin LTX tires were transferred from my from old GX to this one after this picture was taken. The new car came with a Tonneau Cargo Cover so now I have an extra.
I am still playing with settings for the ML Stereo. With most stereos, you get cleaner sound with the Surround Sound option turned off, but with the Lexus (ML included), the sound is just flat without the Surround Sound enable. The sound isn't as clear with the Surround enabled, but overall I think it is better. Oh well...

New Gx460 owner!
Just drove home a used 2014 GX460 last night. Had been shopping for new, but saw a great deal on a 2014 with only 6200miles and Lux package.
1. 2014, Luxury
2. Fire Agate Pearl, Ecru Leather Mahogany Trim
3. Navigation
4. Tow package
In Sept, my wife inherited a 2013 Prius. So we suddenly had three cars. We have 1 child, and a big dog, and travel cross country (1000+ miles) 2-3 times a year in summer. So we decided to trade in two cars (our smaller VW Tiguan and older BMW) for a 3-row capable SUV with ability to haul toys (boats, travel trailers etc..)
After test driving an Audi Q7 and a couple of Ford trucks, we decided on the Lexus. It's truly a great package for those of us that want a real body-on-frame Lux SUV. I look forward to putting miles and miles on this baby along with stints off-road in Minnesota, Maine, and western Maryland.

Like gft74 I recently picked up the 2014 GX 460 with 9995 miles and LOVE IT. It is my 4th Lexus...my 3rd GX series and I have driven my 2 previous GX's to at least 140k miles. And yes there is a learning curve on this one...new technology that I embrace...and will learn all there is to know. Black on black...my first with this color combo.

Definitely A Learning Curve with the GX460
This is my 4th Lexus SUV..BUT the brakes and take off are so different. I use to look forward to taking off at the red light leaving everyone behind...Now, I have to pause to give the vehicle time in order not to jerk when taking off...and the brakes..... you really have to learn them because they are also very jerky in bumper to bumper.....but overall I still love my LEXUS...I am old and I hate change why mess with a perfect engine...

New lurker here - we own two RX's (300 and 350) and looking to add a used GX soon. Would like a 2010-2012 with less than 40k miles. I love seeing people post in this thread their new/used purchases, but is there a thread where people indicate what they paid for the vehicle?

I was hesitant about the 2010 because it was the first GX460..I wanted to ensure they got the kinks out before I took the move from GX470...When you look around the prices for 2011-2013 don't vary too much...the are all in the mid 40's....I got lucky and found mine for 37K before taxes from an out of state Lexus dealer and had it auto transported to me...Best of luck...
