Just purchased a 2014 GX460 in Knights Armor and sepia interior with the premium package. It was in transit from the factory and should arrive in JAX port around the middle of July. Owned a 2004 4Runner V8 limited for the past 10 years which I have loved and has never disappointed. I hope and expect the Lexus will provide the same long life! Have enjoyed reading everyone's posts here over the past couple days and look forward to being part of this forum!

We bought a 2011 GX460 a couple months ago. It's the standard package with semi analine leather, wood trim, 3 zone AC, convenience package, HID adaptive headlights, navigation, preferred accessory and chrome wheels. The outside is black with the brown interior.
We really love driving this vehicle. Being fond of trucks were glad it feels like one except better handling, ride, quieter... Our previous SUVs were Honda CRV and a 2500 Suburban. It's mainly my wife's daily driver but I may get a small camping trailer to pull behind it.
The interior photo isn't ours but the color is correct.

Cuitger: If you go to Live Ships Map and you can get the Dealer to give you the ships name you can track it's progress right up to the dock in real time.

We just bought a 2015 GX460 premium in nebula gray pearl with sepia. Dealer was generous enough to give us $2450 discount from the msrp. But they were so nice in letting us driving their 2013 RX while waiting for our vehicle to arrive (I sold my car for $4200 more than what they want for trade in).
Sale manager claims that the leadership team (executive team) didn't want their dealers to discount too much on the GX460 because they sold every ones they get.

roof rails 2011 gx460
Hi all
I purchased a 2011 GX460 premium this summer and need to identify the best option for roof rack cross rails to hold ski racks and perhaps a cargo carrier such as a Thule box.
Are the OEM cross rails the best option? Have the factory installed flush mount side rails proven reliable with ski gear attached at highway speeds?
what other options have members had success with?

Welcome to CL 
The OEM is low profile and sturdy. I only install them when I have a need but, they do blend in quite well on the truck.
