So I still do not see a door handle anywhere, but I do see a button. It looks like this one will have some sort of electronic door latch...

From the image which has the SUV ripped apart does not seem that this is going to be a split tailgate. And there is another addition wherein the Additional wheel now has been fitted instead of below the chassis as one option

^that looks horrible! gx is moving in the wrong direction if it looks anything like this.

The spare tire on the back was on the previous Toyota Prado, so don't worry about it. lol

Yeah, that rear end is ugly...with or without the mounted spare tire. For me it's the taillights that just ruin the rear. I am closely watching this and the 4Runner as I would love to purchase the new 4Runner. I cant hardly wait for their introduction.

I am not sure how I feel about the re-design. I do not like it enough to trade up. I think the current model looks better.

Not looking good... Will need to wait and see the final product and then see what I want to do, I would like to upgrade. Need to see the inside, there are no good pics of the front dashboard and controls.

Everyone needs to wait before they rush to judgment. This is the Prado, not the GX. The GX has always looked better and I am sure that Lexus will not dissapoint. People are complaining about headlights and taillights...these are the very things that are ALWAYS different from Toy-Lex, so give it a chance people. Or just keep your GX and be happy .

It's foolish to say, "It's so ugly, its fat, it's bland, it's wrong" before we actually see what the differences between the Prado and GX are. These shots of the LCP should give us a good idea for the overall shape of the car, but not the details, and a Lexus is always a Lexus in the details.

I hear the Prado will be available in Japan this September, and probably a bit earlier in the Middle East since the inventory is there and the Japanese haven't even heard of a new Prado before seeing those pics. I hope the Lexus version will be available sometime in October/November, definitely before the first snowfall so I can get the truck and test it out in the snow!!
