Default Tire options on GX470???

When I first bought my GX they had a couple or few differnent tire brands on the various floor models.

Anybody know what all the factory tires are that are available for the GX and which ones are best???

Mine came with the Michellin Cross Terrians.

Thumbs up

My last one came with Dunlops and wear very quickly, Michlin is the better tire.

Thanks. Anybody else??

I am looking for the specific name as well as the brand name of the tires. I am trying to do comparisions on the three tire choices as far as handling, traction, wear, and snow capabilities.

I use mine for freeway driving, but will also be using it to tow in the snow this winter. I was just wondering if out of the three stock choices the Michelin Cross Terrians were the best option.

Default bridgestones?

both of mine came with bridgestones, I think.

In the southeast, all these vehicles come from "Southeast Toyota",
owned by JM Lexus, so maybe they are the ones speccing what tires we get.

Mine has Bridgestone 265/65R17. Seem to be okay, but I like Michelin. I got 56K out of the Goodyears that came on our RX300, which wasn't a bad tire either.

The Michelin Cross Terrians are the best of the bunch by far. I have put them on another SUV.

See www.tirerack.com for various tire reviews. The Cross Terains rank high there.

I have the Mich's on my GX and love them.

Just got my GX last Saturday (8/2).

Dunlop AT20 GrandTrek 265/65/17

Don't know how they compare to others but did see Bridgestones on the other GXs at the dealership.
