Default Heated seats

We tried out the heated seats today - do they just not get very hot? In our other car we pop the heater all the way up and it's burning within 20 seconds to the point where you turn it down... on the GX we turned it up to the top and after 10 minutes I felt almost nothing.

They were not exactly hot in my GS4 either.

They don't get hot, but they will warm you up on a winter day a only a few minutes. I find that I had to turn my temp controls down after 5 minutes or so.

Ah... but one thing I like about our other car is you can use the seat heaters to soothe an aching back because they get so warm.

The seats don't seem as warm as they were in our 99 RX. My wife felt the difference right away.

They really don't heat up right away, like mine during the winter. After a few minutes, you'll feel a difference.

Mine are smoking hot in under a minute. Too hot in fact. Maybe it varies from truck to truck.

It depends on the outside temp. If the outside temp is not cold enough, the heated seats don't turn on even though the switch light indicator goes on. I thought mine weren't working here in Florida until the dealership told me that. It worked fine on a drive to NY.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I was thinking it had to have some kind of thermostat or something. When they finally did heat up, they stopped warming when they hit a certain temp. On our other car, though, on level 5 it just keeps heating and heating and heating till you get burnt It's good for the back
