Nice tip , but you should be careful about people who steal. Because it's easy to unscrew those ttips but if you have it welded on it's virtually impossible to get off the tip without a saw.

I just orderted the 4runner exhaust tip for my GX, the shippment will arrive in two days.
I heard that these two trucks share the same exhausts, but I don't know if they are true.
Anyway, once i put it on my GX, I will show you.

Midas Visit
I went to a local Midas yesterday, attempting to get a chrome or stainless steel exhaust tip. The counterman came outside to the vehicle with a tape measure & verified the measurement stated earlier in this thread...2.5 inches. He went back in and got their standard 2.5 inch chrome exhaust tip and it would not fit on my pipe! He then got an old 2 5/8 tip from the back area and it would not fit either. He told me that they could do some cutting & welding to make a 2.5 inch tip fit, and that I should go ahead and pick one out of their catalog. Also did not see the tip (8 sided) shown in the pic earlier in this thread in the Midas catalog.
Any thoughts on this? (2004 GX 470).
