Default I'm doing it. I'm putting me deposit down today

I am putting my $500 deposit down today on my GX470. I'm paying $52,000 (that is $1,679 below MSRP)fully loaded. Ash Blue w/ Ivory interior.

They quoted me 3 - 5 weeks.

Please see my resond on the "Are you experiencing vibration" thread.

I will tell you this though, I will test drive my GX when it comes in before I sign any papers and if it has the vibration issue I will refuse it and order another one until the one I get does not have the issue.

Default New GX 470

Cessna 172,
Congratulation with your new GX, When you take the test drive, ask the sale person not to go with you, you will feel more comfortable and concentrate better on the vibration issue, remember to drop the gas pedal around 2000 RPM and step on it again, it seem to vibrate the most when you do that. In my opinion I think it is better to wait for the 04 if you can. First, most of the problem with the current 03 GX will be fixed, second, you will get a camera in the back for backing up, I am not so sure about the Kinetic suspension, it 's hard to say that Lexus will abandon the current suspension after one year of the production, also I heard that Lexus will take out the Lexus link option ( you will save around $1100.00 for something that you will never use) and last the dealer will discount more on the GX since it is no longer a brand new model. We are already in May and the 04 GX should be in the show room by the end of August, just 3 months away, you could save alot of money, more color option and less problem.

Good Luck with your new GX.

TNLCAO.

I would doubt that the 04 GX's would be avialable in August/Sept the release on the '03's was late to begin with and there is a good chance the '04's will be late to the table as well. That was my main reason for coming back to an '03 instead of waiting....I don't want to be driving my GS come December since I'll be getting rid of my Expedition in July. No one was willing to guarantee me that I'd be able to get an '04 before October.
