Creaky Seat
The driver seat in my GX sounds like a hundred and fifty year old rocking chair. It creaks and squeeks like crazy. The passenger seat and all others are fine. Curious if anybody is having the same problem. I am taking it in for the recalls tomorrow and will have it looked into. Also curious as to what they will do to fix it.

Mine also has a creaking sound in the driver's seat. This time it isn't the lumbar support. I think this happened because maybe the people at the Lexus dealer don't really care when they drive it in for the car wash. They think that the seat will never break or have squeaks and creaks. So tell me what they did to yours and what they will do. Thanks.

Mine creaks too. I took it to the dealership and of course they can find nothing wrong with it. It is the usual response that I get with this type of complaint. Very aggravating!

SNAFU
Wish I could give some feedback on the seat issue. I took GX in last Tuesday to have it looked at and to have the recalls taken care of (11 days ago). Well in the course of taking care of the rear suspension recall they blew out the rear shock. Waiting on parts so they tell me. Meanwhile they haven't even looked at the seat. They tell me they will either fix it or order another one. Will keep you posted.

For those of you with your Squeaky Seats tell your Lexus dealer to contact the closest Toyota Dealer or Toyota and ask them what the fix is for the 4Runner Squeaky Seats
The Seats sits ontop of the tracks and the tracks are attached to plastic handles on the floor, if your move the seat all the way forward you will see what the tracks are held to, kinda like a bar in your hand they have to remove the seats grease the ends of the tracks and put them back
When I went to Toyota noone had a clue to what the problem was but the Techs knew, and to save yourself the aggravation just tell them both the driver and passenger seat squeaks.

Satisfied
Just got my GX back. 18 days in the shop to fix a creaky seat !!
Well the seat took about 1 hour to fix. Apparently there are a couple of service bulletins out there pertaining to seat problems. It sounds just fine now.
The problems started with the recalls. I decided to have the 3 recalls taken care of at the same time as the seat..
While they were working on the rear suspension recall they sliced the rear air shock.
They put the part on order and told me they would call me when it came in. I called them yesterday and they said that it would be another 6 days or so until the part arrived. I needed the truck sooner so they took a shock off of a new GX that had arrived the same day.
So I picked it up today. For my trouble they completely detailed the truck and filled it up with gas (it was bone dry when I took it in).
Also the $1,000 Visa gift card for the recall campaign will come in handy.
Great to have it back. The IS300 loaner was fun but I was getting tired of it.
