Test drove the GX today and....
Noticed the vibration some here have talked about. It was on the freeway at about 60 - 65 MPH with the RPM in the 1700 range and it was only present when slightly accelerating and stopped after I took my foot off the gas.
Has anybody have this problem successfully fixed. I love this truck but have reservations about purchasing one with this issue going on.
Just a thought but the truck comes with two tire options, one is the Michellen and the other is something else I can't think of right now, I wonder if with a certain tire combo that this is happening.
Any comments or insight to this issue??
Thanks,
Donovan

Yes the noise is very annoying, dealer claims no service bullitans for it and they never heard of it. Anytime it pulls even with cruise control on it makes the noise, deaceleration its gone. I think it to be exhaust resonance, had a Caddillac once that did the same thing. They ended up desighning a large weight to hang on the exhaust system lol. I have the Dunlop tires.

Do all the GX have that wierd vibration or do only some
Cessna172
Is it possible to test drive another truck and see if it has the problem cause my 4Runner does not have a vibration, why don't you test drive a 4Runner, V8 of course and see if the vibration is their cause none of the V8 4Runner owners have complained about a vibration.
Maybe the GX vibration has to do with an improperly balanced drive line component or the added weight to the truck is throwing something off.
The Dunlops and BridgeStones I would bet money that they will get no more than 20-30k out of them
