Exclamation 2005 GX470, A/C Hot Air, Overheating, Antifreeze all over engine

Please help! I have a 2005 GX 470, I noticed a sound, like that of a belt being loose, the sound came from the front of the truck. A few minutes later the AC stopped cooling, it was blowing really hot air and then the temperature of the engine went really high. I stopped on the side of the road, when we opened the hood, the belt was not broken but there was antifreeze everywhere. Have you guys had this problem, do you have any clue where the problem is? My extended warranty expired a month ago ...

How any miles to it? Have you done the timing belt? It might be the thermostat.

I'm gonna go w/ water-pump or idler/roller but w/ anti-freeze all over w/p is definitely in lead...

With it overheating you DEFINITELY DO NOT WANT TO DRIVE vehicle. Get it towed to get fixed/diagnosed properly.

Good luck

Just want to chime in - DO NOT START OR DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE!

Get it towed to your mechanic. Tell him it overheated when driving.

You can ask your warranty company for some consideration, but since the policy expired, technically they don't owe you anything.
