GX 470 - Auto Insurance Rates
Just curious as to what many of you are paying for your GX 470 as far as insurance goes ...
I was quoted from the Travelers Insurance:
100/300/50 coverage, $1000 deductibles, no un-insured motorists, no rental, no tow package ... $1132.00 for full coverage for the entire year. I'm claiming the GX 470 as my pleasure or secondary vehicle and claiming my Ford Explorer SportsTrac as my primary driving vehicle (qualified for a multi-car discount). I also have my homeowner's insurance with the Travelers as well.
My age: 28
Louisiana resident (we are noted for higher insurance premiums down here)
Single
No accidents within the past 5 years, as well as no tickets and I have never had my license suspended.
Credit Score: 777 (this does matter believe it or not)
Fair quote? Just to note, I called Geico (because they can offer you a quote without running your credit) and they wanted to charge me $677.80 for the GX 470 every 6 months, as they don't do annual policies. I also called Progressive and they would not offer me a quote, because I would not give them my SSN for them to do a credit check.
Comments? Can a better deal be found?
