HID foglights
Well,
I saw the thread on the HIDs and the lack of the H11 availability, but what about the foglights.. they area H4?!? and there ARE H4 kits available. Anyone played with that at all? as fasr as H11 and the lack of HIDs and that being the reason why Lexus does not have HIDs.. well that is simply CROCK!!!! Lexus could of put any bulb in there, what i HAVE been told by a dealership is that because the truck is high and that the bumper comes out some distance from the front, they could not get HIDs that would properly self-level w/o blinding incomnig vehicles.... what at least that is why I was told by a realiable source.. don't quote me on it, but I am sure they could of placed any sized bulb/assembly in there if they so desired. Its rather an oddball that the lights are not present... baffles me. I wish the RX300 enclosures were interchangable, that would solve many prolems.

Well then did anyone try to install the H3 kit into the foglights?
BTW: I cannot find any Sylvania bulbs in H3 configuration, I am talking about the SIlver Stars of course.

I changed the yellowish fog light bulbs in my 996TT to PIAA Xtreme white H3 bulbs and they now match the xenons. Perhaps this is an alternative fix. I bought them from Tweeter for about $69.
