Default My new 06 GX470

Picked this up about a week ago. After scouring the country I found the wheels and tires about 450 miles away. I knew they'd look good so ended up getting them. They are from a 2014 4Runner Limited and I don't think they could be any more perfect. Aside from the Toyota emblem which I'm still looking for another option.

Last night installed HID's and replaced interior exterior lights with LED's.

Ordered HID foglights and getting front bumper repainted as it has some light fading. Anyway, just wanted to say hi!

Not a fan of big wheels usually, but those OEM wheels look right at home for an onroad GX

I've been wondering what the Limited 20's would look like on a GX470. Thanks for being the pioneer with those! Which HIDs did you get?

Thanks guys! I have the same wheels on my Sequoia and love the look.

I got the Morimito set for my headlights and fogs from the retro source. The directions they came with were pretty lame, but apart from that they look pretty good.

I've been running DDM Tuning HID's on my Sequoia for at least 5 years without the slightest hint of an issue. This was my first time to stray from DDM. Honestly, I think the light output is better from DDM but maybe it's just me. I also went with the 4000k to try and keep it factory looking but that shouldn't matter.

I got all my LED's from superbrightleds and they look great. All in the LED's were right at $150, but once you step foot in the car at night it is vey much worth the price.

So about $450 in lighting and the GX feels very updated. Next is a Vaistech to play my music through my phone and then I can quit spending money on this thing.

Love the LEDs. What color? white or blue? Was it complicated changing the running board lights ?

What size tires are you running? I'm thinking of the same wheels with 275/55/20 tires.

Btw, are the TPMS sensors from newer 4Runner compatible in an older GX? Can dealer program them to work ?

I picked up a set of these wheels thanks to you. Will be installing later this week with 275/55/20 tires.

.
Are the interior LEDS just a swap out with factory bulbs or is a load resistor needed? What size did you use on outside running boards?
