Default Introduction and My New GX

Hello good folks. I've been lurking for a few weeks now as I was researching on the purchase of a GX470. I must admit the hunt was half the fun. Finally found one I really liked and it was fairly local to me. I met up with the seller last weekend to inspect the car and left a deposit right away. My wife and I came back this weekend to pick up our new to us '07 GX. I hope to get her titled and registered this week so we can start driving. Hard to believe she's almost 8 years old, 90k+ miles, and still so smooth and quiet. Though a few years newer, this truck reminded me a lot of the 03 4Runner I used to have back in 2003. The GX comes equipped with the Nav/ML audio, 3rd row seating, and no rear entertainment. My kids are all pre-teen and teenagers. They'd much rather have their iPhones instead. Maintenance wise, she's all up to date including the timing belt and water pump. My plans for the coming week is to get her detailed inside and out to my liking, then tint the 2 front windows to match the rest of the car. The mod bug is starting already

In the next week or so, my plan is to install my Morimoto hid then tint the front windows. Im sure I'll think of something else to do down the road.

Here you go. Its a 95 993 coupe, 6m with 64k miles. She's in hibernation for the next several months.

Devastatingly beautiful Porsche and wheels (but, a black int would be even better).

The wide / turbo body is classic hot rod Porsche in my book.

Isn't the '94-95 highly sought after?!

Johnny- Yeah 95s are highly sought after being OBD1. No worries with the dreaded SAI valve CEL. This one has a rather rare interior, deviated black carpeting and trim, marble grey sports seats interior.

Here's a pic of my 97 C4S wide body with the Turbo S aero.

Porter Cable 7424? God Bless YOU! Orange,White,Grey & Blue Pads Picked up my GX last November and I'm anxious to get on that paint as well. It's a lot of work but worth it. I spent 10 hrs on my black M45(full paint correction) and another 4hrs on the wife's CLS550 this summer

Congratulations NTH! These are some of the finest pre-owned vehicles you can buy. After a long search, I bought mine a year ago and have had zero issues - its a solid vehicle and I'm very happy with it. Very similar to yours, except I specifically searched for a non-Nav GX because I wasn't thrilled with all the controls through that unit.

A bit OT, but also want to throw out a high five on your P-car (or is it 'cars' ... silver & a black one??). I used to have a '96 993 Cab. That's one sale I regret ... they have tons of personality.

Fluid- I'm also very impressed with this vehicle. It rides, sounds, and performs like a truck with 20k miles. I'm constantly tinkering with it since purchasing 2 weekends ago. I'm sure looking for a non-nav model was tough. Just about every single one I saw in person and online had the Nav.

OT- Thanks, yes that 2 cars. I got bitten by the air cooled bug some years ago. IMO, nothing like the sound of the flat 6, and the aroma of the leather.
