I literally ordered a set five minutes before seeing this. Sales was cool and let me apply the code through e-mail. I'm stoked to get this Friday!

How are you guys finishing yours? I'm not a fan of powdercoat on high impact parts so I've decided to go with a POR-15 base and POR-15 bedliner on top of that. I've finished the base and need to find time to do the bedliner.

Mine came powder coated. Are you bolting or welding? I originally planned to bolt on but now realize there are several holes that need to be drilled and tapped. Not terribly difficult but I'm leaning toward just dropping off at a shop. Now my dilemma is bolt or weld.

it should be bolt on?! There shouldnt be any holes needing to be drilled/tapped for installation.

I haven't actually spent the 5min yet looking underneath my truck to see which holes exist, which don't. The instructions (below) indicate that the Front and Middle feet require drilling. It may not take much, but I'm considering whether or not to have welded. I originally didn't consider welding an option because I assumed it would be costly but possibly not.

1.4 Drilling new/bigger holes is necessary for both lower bolts on the front and middle foot of the slider.

1.4.1 The FRONT foot needs a ½” hole to sink the provided 3/8 rivet nut. If hole is not already present measure 3 ½” down from center of top hole using the side of the larger hole as a guide to mark were hole should be. (See Fig A)
1.4.2 Drill a new or enlarge existing hole to ½ diameter and install 3/8 rivet nut using the provided hardware as a tool. The bolt that threads into the rivet nut gets a washer and a nut slightly bigger than the bolt to make the tool.(See Fig B)
1.4.3 The MIDDLE foot requires a 5/8 hole drilled in the bottom of the frame to sink the ½” rivet nut. This unfortunatly takes the mounting of the slider marking hole location removing the slider then drilling the for presice hole placement. Then repeate above steps with ½ bolt and provided harware as tool.

Can someone whos installed theirs chime in on this? I was assuming no additional work, as in plain bolt on, but I could be wrong

Default Sliders

I just laid one down next to my GX and took a glance on where they appear to bolt onto frame. This is the driver-side of vehicle with pics from front of truck to back - just the front and middle flanges since I can't attach more pics (next post below). The measuring tape is just to eye-ball the distance between holes, not exactly held to them.

Here's the 3rd flange - toward the rear of the truck. It has an angle to it, not perpendicular to the ground.
